"For married women, it was a sign of status and would show that you were caught and you are not looking for a husband"
Grant Harrold
Since she married Prince Harry in May, the 37-year-old duchess has adopted a more classic fashion style, in keeping with royal traditions.
But, according to Grant Harrold – known as Royal Butler – Meghan and Kate Middleton do not have until 18 hours an article traditionally associated with the family.
He stated that diamond tiaras, like the one worn by both women on their wedding day, are strictly used during the evening.
It is also generally reserved for married women, according to Harrold.
He told Sun Online: "For married women, it was a sign of status and that would show that you were taken and that you are not looking for a husband.
"For the gentleman, it was a clear sign of not making progress towards the lady in question."
The last time we saw Meghan wearing a tiara for her wedding, it's one of the few occasions when she can be worn during the day.
The beautiful tiara had not been seen since her last use by Princess Margaret in 1965.
Last year, Kate was spotted wearing a glittering helmet at a ball organized by the Queen.
Despite the popular opinion, it is not considered a social faux pas to bring the sumptuous item during the day, but it should above all be put forward for special occasions.
Mr. Harold added, "The bigger the event, the more likely it will be to wear diamonds – especially if there is a reason.
