Authorities said Sankat had tried to steal the plane.

Graves confronted Sankat while he was in the plane. Graves said that he had not hesitated to act because he was thinking of the attacks of September 11th.

"He looked around me and said," You come with me. You come from this plane. "I knocked him down at the front door, I took him on that golf cart and we got into the shed," Graves said.

Sankat was studying aviation management at the Florida Institute of Technology and had completed flight training, school officials said. Investigators said he was not rated for the type of plane he was accused of attempting to steal.

"I really think it's an Indian pig that tests airport security – I really think so," Graves said.

The Joint Terrorism Task Force, which includes the FBI, is currently conducting an investigation, but Sankat is already facing state charges of visa violation, trespassing and criminal theft of an aircraft.
