Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon is inactive for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Gordon was not listed in the injury report until the team's training Friday in London, where he was classified as limited due to a thigh injury.

The Wisconsin product is third in the NFL and leads the AFC with 466 yards rushing.

The half-defensive half has accumulated more than 100 yards in two of the last three games, including 132 yards in 18 carries and three touchdowns in the 38-14 win over Cleveland last Sunday.

Gordon played a full season of 16 games for the first time last year, finishing with 342 touchdowns in 2017, the fourth place in the NFL. Gordon finished without touching his rookie season, but since the start of the 2016 season he has scored 33 scores. Only Todd Gurley (36) has more.

Austin Ekeler will probably be the starter. The back of the second year averages 6.4 yards per run and has three touchdowns this season.

The Chargers also announced they had Detrez Newsome running for the 53-man roster. The rookie from West Carolina takes on the Chargers in three games this season.
