Gordon's knee injury occurred during a reverse match early in the second half of Sunday's 45-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Gordon left the field alone. However, he was examined by the medical staff on the edge of the field and then went to the cloakroom for further evaluation.

Gordon was questionable early on Sunday because of knee and hamstring problems. He suffered the injury while his team controlled the game and led 28-10.

The fourth-year player has 802 rushing yards on 153 runs, averaging 5.2 yards per run. He also caught 44 receptions for 453 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in 10 games.

If Gordon does not heal in time for Sunday, the Chargers will turn to a recoil per committee Austin Ekeler as starter and rookies Justin Jackson and Detrez Newsome as substitutes.
