The Raiders started 0-2 and there are serious concerns about how things are handled in Oakland while the Jon Gruden era continues to debut in a questionable manner. Indeed, there may even be a "cleavage" in the organization regarding player screening and management of personnel issues.

Yes, there seems to be a clear division between the guys who are Gruden guys and those guys from McKenzie.
For Rapoport, those who grew up under McKenzie are "frustrated that Gruden has his guys, who form a group that has led the signing of several veteran free agents, the dropping of several draft picks and the Khalil Mack deal."
There is MUCH of public sniping on the Mack trade, Gruden noting that he had nothing to do with sending a second round (2020) to the Bears with Mack in the deal. McKenzie made it clear that he was not interested in doing business with Mack at all, even though he had been on the road talking publicly.
It was already hard to imagine McKenzie in 2018, but when you read the details about the Raiders events, it is really hard to imagine a scenario where this malfunction would continue in 2019.
