SOME members of the proposed Soroptimist Club Esperance (SCE) have partnered with LMCS, In Cor Tech, Eriu Pain Management and Massy Stores in La Romaine to raise awareness of breast cancer on the occasion of breast cancer. in San Fernando last Wednesday.

Marilyn Lalla, head of communications for the San Fernando-based club, said: "The goal of this initiative was to raise eyebrows, interrupt conversations, ask questions and raise awareness about the closing of the month of breast cancer awareness.

She said part of the proposed club vision, which should be created on December 9, is to focus more on rural TT areas. She added that, like all other Soroptimist clubs, although they all share the same vision, the SCE will put more emphasis on women and girls, especially those in rural areas.

On the day of the event, which was usually a social media awareness campaign, some SCE members, all dressed in pink, went to speak to Massy Stores employees, also dressed in pink, about breast cancer .
