Meryl Streep already has her bid ready for this year's Oscars.
The three-time Oscar winner, aged 69, thrilled the crowd in the US Open final in men's singles on Sunday with his outrageous response to action on the pitch. And although Streep may have lost himself in a crowd of thousands at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queen, New York, home viewers lived for his incredible facial expressions.
"And the price for the best performance of a fan in a leading role comes down to …", writes Streep's US Open official account as he watched Novak Djokovic win his 14th major tournament against Juan Martin del Potro.
Other spectators quickly turned Streep's shocked face into a meme.
