The issue of women's safety in the workplace was addressed following the wave of complaints of sexual harassment in the context of the MeToo campaign. Women in various professions have used social media to name and shame their attackers, and it seems that there are still many names to surface.

YouGov India conducted a pan-Indian survey of men and women (interviewing more than 1,000 respondents) in urban centers by asking a series of questions about sexual harassment and the #MeToo movement. The exercise was conducted from October 16 to 22 and used a survey with 21 questions. First post will serialize the results as a series of five-part infographics.

The first set of five infographics describes how men and women perceive sexual harassment and their own experiences. According to the findings of the survey on sex, 74% of respondents believe that Bollywood is most likely to cases of sexual harassment, followed by the policy (53% of respondents) and the media (50% of respondents) .

A quarter of men think that the #MeToo movement is only a hype and will soon disappear, while more than half of the men surveyed say they have become much more cautious about how they interact with members of the opposite sex since the beginning of the movement. In addition, about 35% of those surveyed said they know someone accused of harassment and more than 40% said they know someone harassed.
