On the eve of crucial hearings on the role of Supreme Court candidate Brett Kavanaugh in an alleged sexual assault, attorney Michael Avenatti issued a court document outlining new allegations against Kavanaugh.
Avenatti, who made a name for representing Stormy Daniels, made fun of the announcement earlier this week, but her Wednesday morning tweets were a surprise.
You will find below my correspondence with Mr. Davis, accompanied by a sworn statement from my client. We demand an immediate investigation by the FBI into these allegations. Brett Kavanaugh should under no circumstances be confirmed in the absence of a full and complete investigation. pic.twitter.com/QHbHBbbfbE

Here is a picture of my client Julie Swetnick. She is brave, brave and honest. We ask that his private life and that of his family be respected. pic.twitter.com/auuSeHm5s0

He has published both a photo of Kavanaugh's new accuser, Julie Swetnick, and a court document with the details of the allegation.
Swetnick, who has had a long career working with federal agencies like Treasure and Homeland Security, alleges that she saw Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge "drinking excessively and engaging in highly inappropriate behavior." … girls without their consent "during the period from 1981 to 1983."
Swetnick's most explosive allegation, however, is an assertion that she would have witnessed the efforts of the judge, Kavanaugh "and others to" target "particular girls" using punches "to can enjoy it. "
In addition, Swetnick details incidents in which Judge Kavanaugh and others participated in a gang rape, including an incident in which she was the victim.
12. I have also witnessed efforts on the part of Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to provoke the intoxication and disorientation of the girls so that they can then be "raped together" in a side room or room by a "train" of many boys. I remember very well seeing boys lined up outside several lounges, waiting for their daughters to be in the room. These boys included Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh.
13. Around 1982, I was the victim of one of those gang or train rapes in which Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present. Shortly after the incident, I shared what had happened with at least two other people. During the incident, I was incapacitated without my consent and unable to fight the boys who raped me. I think I was drugged using Quaaludes or something similar placed in what I drank.
In his tweets, Avenatti includes emails sent to Mike Davis, Chief Advisor for Appointments, Senate Judiciary Committee of the United States, on the fact that Swetnick (who is now the third Davis, says Avenatti, does not). still did not answer.
After Avenatti shared the allegations, a spokesman for the Senate Judiciary Committee confirmed that they were reviewing the complaints.
Statement by Mr. Grassley on the Senate Judiciary Committee: "This morning, Michael Avenatti made a statement to the Judicial Committee, and the Commission's lawyers are now considering it."

Christine Blasey Ford is scheduled to testify Thursday before the Judiciary Committee over her allegations that Kavanaugh assaulted her at a party in 1982. Senate Democrats are also investigating a second allegation of sexual misconduct by a woman who was a classmate with Kavanaugh at Yale.
Kavanuagh repeatedly denied allegations made against him, including in an interview with Fox News aired earlier this week.
