SPOIL ALERT: Do not read if you have not yet watched "Fire and Reign", the ninth episode of "American Horror Story: Apocalypse."
While "American Horror Story: Apocalypse" continued to date back to the apocalypse that had marked the beginning of the season, the penultimate episode, "Fire and Reign," revealed why it seemed like nothing was happening. Cordelia (Paulson) assured her that all the witches would be safe under her aura shield, but Dinah (Adina Porter) broke the spell for Michael and Mir-bot (Kathy Bates), who then ruthlessly shot down all the witches with her rifle arm. Cordelia, Mallory and Myrtle (Frances Conroy), who were on the floor at the time, survived, but Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) were not so lucky. Dinah examined the carnage too, with a nauseating look on her face – but hey, Satan's thanks for helping her son was giving him a talk show, so she did not feel as well wrong.

In a really funny twist, it turned out that Mutt and Jeff had installed a camera in Mir-bot and used it to spy on Michael. They could also control Miriam's speech and suggest she burn the world and use Mutt and Jeff to help her.

In Ryan Murphy's version of this royal family, the youngest daughter Anastasia was a witch, but her power was not strong enough to save her family – hence the reason Mallory was sent back in the past to help.
At the first attempt, Mallory lost focus, the family was killed and Mallory nearly died, too. Cordelia acknowledged that Mallory would not enter her full powers until she (Cordelia) died, but Myrtle would not let her do anything radical, offering another idea – ask for help to the warlocks. Which is drastic in its own way but does not hope to be fatal. Unfortunately, Michael came first and literally tore up the warlocks.
Back at Mutt and Jeff QG, Venable really wanted to quit, so the billionaire group told him of his plan to start World War III and kill most of the world's population. They offered her an outpost post for the end of the world and she immediately had a pretty power hungry for thought. Meanwhile, Michael revealed the apocalypse plan to the Cooperative (Illuminati) and assured him of the survival of their family as well as that of their family by describing the plan of construction of the outposts.
Once again, the episode had the impression of ending rather abruptly. It seems foolish that there is only one episode left, as much remains to be done in the final of the season, from the setting up of the outposts until the members of the coven resurrected today. and, according to the preview. for next week, do more flashbacks in Michael's youth.
