Between selling arenas for her An eagerly awaited book tour, Michelle Obama had time to arbitrate a wedding.

Stephanie Rivkin and Joel Sircus, a Chicago couple, said "I'm doing it" Saturday night at Theater on the Lake.

One participant, Tina Newman, was able to contain her enthusiasm and shared an Obama video with the bride and groom at the altar on Instagram. TMZ first published the Instagram story, which has since been removed.

"Holy Moly", Newman's post reads, complete with a heart emoji. "That moment Michelle Obama officiated at your cousin's wedding!"

During the clip, Obama recites the vows in a microphone while the bride blushes after her. Obama looked radiant in a long-sleeved black dress, a stark contrast to the white canopy behind her.

After the wedding, the festivities continued with a lively wedding reception where the couple participated in a Hora chair dance. It is unclear whether Obama attended the reception after attending the ceremony.

USA TODAY has contacted the representative of Obama for confirmation.

You may be wondering who the lucky couple is? Well, according to the couple's announcement in The New York Times, the bride is the daughter of Robert S. Rivkin, deputy mayor of Chicago. Rivkin's mother is the president of the Pritzker Traubert Foundation, a Chicago charity run by Penny Pritzker, who was secretary of the Obama administration's trade.
