Wisconsin (+8) over MICHIGAN: A one-dimensional attack is not going to get it done against a Wolverines defense that ranks No. 1 in the nation by allowing 231 yards per game. Jonathan Taylor, who played with the ball 24 times for 221 yards and three scores last week. Wisconsin has not lost by more than seven points in its past 33 Big Ten road games. Jim Harbaugh is a conservative play-caller in big games and likely will lean on his defense to win a low scoring game at Ann Arbor.
LSU (+ 7½) over Georgia: The Bulldogs have an average score of 29.8, with no more than 14 points, while trailing for a total of 15 seconds. A trip to Baton Rouge is probably the time for some adversity. Kirby Smart's team has not been in a street fight since squaring off with Alabama in January. In a crazed atmosphere, LSU has the defense and running attack to hang tough. This shapes up similarly to the Ohio State-Penn State matchup two weeks ago, so go with the Tigers as dangerous home 'dogs.
Last week: 2-0
Season: 8-4.
