Mike DuBose, former coach of Alabama, shoots himself by accident

Former Alabama head coach, Mike DuBose, was shot in the stomach while he was working on his farm. He was rushed to hospital Monday with life-threatening injuries, according to the Covington County (Alabama) sheriff's office.

DuBose totaled 24-23 and won a SEC title in Alabama in 1999, but was exhausted one year after his third season lost in four years and in the middle of an NCAA investigation that resulted in a ban on two years and a five-year probation. among other penalties.

He got another head coaching opportunity at Millsaps College from 2006 to 2009, where he earned a 33-10 record and twice a spot in the NCAA Division III playoffs.
