Mike Francesa seems to think that he could be in total retirement mode.
On Monday, Francesa opened the door to the possibility of leaving her afternoon show on WFAN and creating only her new "Mike's On" app at $ 8.99 per month.
Francesa – who returned to FAN in May for sources considered a major pay cut – said she did not sign a deal with Entercom, the parent company of FAN. Often, in the broadcasting sector, parties will agree on the parameters of an agreement before the paperwork is completed.
"We have not yet reached an agreement, which makes me think that the application and the broadcast may not work together. He then clarified that the adjustments would not be with the application.
"Mike's app is not going anywhere," said Francesa.

Francesa has never lost to Kay in the ratings.
Francesa did not reveal whether his app had won an audience, but social media still praised him for its price and for the fact that he's showing it in moderation.
Mark Chernoff, vice president of programming at WFAN, declined to comment when asked if he was planning Francesa's resignation.
Francesa returned in May after "retiring" in December. He said that he only came back to launch his app, even though he could have launched it without taking his old place back. It might have been better for the paid subscription application. If he was not doing nearly 18 hours of free radio a week, there might be an audience more willing to pay to hear his thoughts.
