Mike Sainristil, BC, Three Stars, Tim Baldwin Commit to Michigan

The Michigan football team signed two more commitments after its big win over Penn State.

Mike Sainristil, three stars from Everett, Mass., Announced Sunday his verbal commitment in Michigan.

Above a note posted on Twitter, Sainrisitil, 5 feet 10 inches and 175 pounds, says he is "110% committed" to the Wolverines. He was previously employed with Virginia Tech.

"I am pleased to announce that I have found my new home and the school I will be attending over the next four years!" Wrote Sainristil. "This decision was not easy, but I promise you it's the best for my family and me!

"I am now committed to the University of Michigan"

Sainristil (its 247Sports recruitment profile) is ranked # 1 in the 2019 Massachusetts recruiting class, based on the 247Sports composite system. He is the 62nd best corner half of the class and number 678 in general.

Sainristil is listed as having scholarship offers from 10 other schools, including Mississippi, Wisconsin, Syracuse and Rutgers, among others. He resigned from Virginia Tech on October 22 after announcing his verbal commitment to the Hokies in February.

With Sainristil, Michigan now has 24 commitments in its 2019 recruiting class. He joins five-star defenseman Daxton Hill (Tulsa, Oklahoma), three-star cornerback DJ Turner (Bradenton, Florida) and three-star safety Quinten Johnson (Washington, DC) and Joey Velasquez (Columbus, Ohio).

The recruiting class ranks ninth in the nation and first place in the Big Ten.

At the same time, running back Tim Baldwin Jr. is also on Sunday in Michigan.

In a note on Twitter, Baldwin (247Sports Profile) wrote: "I am blessed and ecstatic to announce that I am committed to the University of Michigan.

"After a careful review of the program that gives me the best opportunities I've chosen to reduce my recruitment, because I believe Michigan will do just that and more."

The native of Ashburn, Virginia, weighing 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 187 pounds, currently ranks 29th among the top athletes in the 2020 recruiting category. Baldwin had, among other things, bursary offerings. Boston College, Maryland, Syracuse, Rutgers and West Virginia.

It is Michigan's sixth commitment for 2020.
