In the New Jersey court documents obtained by We Monday, October 22, the 36-year-old Jersey Shore star requested – and obtained – an extension of time from the date on which he was to begin serving his prison sentence. Sorrentino is sentenced to go to the prison office as of January 15, 2019.
The news comes less than a month after Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of supervised probation at a New Jersey court hearing in early October.

"
The native of New Jersey went to Instagram a few hours later to express his gratitude to those in his corner and reveal that he was looking at the glass half full.
"We are very happy to leave this behind," he wrote. "Thank you very much for all the love and support."
