According to the BCA, Blevins had a gun when he was shot by officers on June 23rd. Brown says the family is demanding justice for Belvins.

A caller at 911 told police dispatchers that a drunk man was shooting a gun in the air, according to a report released by the police.

According to the BCA, when the agents arrived, they found Blevins and a woman member of the family said his girlfriend was sitting on the sidewalk. When officers approached him, Blevins escaped and the BCA said he was carrying a black and silver rifle.

After pursuing it for several blocks, the two officers fired their shots. Blevins was declared dead on the scene. The BCA has identified the agents involved as Justin Schmidt and Ryan Kelly.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said he plans to broadcast these images from here the end of July.

After Blevins' death, protesters called for the release of the camera's body images.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said "no comment" when KSTP contacted the video's release.
