Major League Baseball (MLB) has cleared the Houston Astros of their stealing allegations during their American League Championship Series with the Boston Red Sox.
The Cleveland Indians also filed a complaint with MLB about a similar incident that reportedly happened at their ballpark during their playoff series against Houston earlier this month.
"With respect to both incidents regarding a Houston Astros employee," MLB said in a statement released Wednesday, "Security identified an issue, addressed to the Department of Investigations."
The statement noted that a "thorough investigation has been made that the subject has not been included in the monitoring process." MLB considers the matter "closed."
MLB says all Clubs in MLB staff for investigation and resolution.
