An MMA fighter, a priest and a police officer enter an airport … well, not quite.

But an MMA fighter took part in a fight at the Spirit Airlines counter at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta late Tuesday, and it took two people and a priest to break up the fight, according to media reports local.

Atlanta Channel 2 and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution announced that chaos at the airport had begun when Charles Haywood, aged 43, had quarreled with another client after being informed that he was on a no-fly list.

Witnesses told Channel 2 that Haywood became furious and quickly became violent. He finally directed his anger towards another client, Ivan Williams, according to the Journal-Constitution.

Agent Jarius Daugherty told the newspaper that Williams had told the police that Haywood had "hit him face-to-face, in addition to kicking him and choking him" .

"It took a priest and two ladies to drive him away from me," Williams told Channel 2.

Daugherty added that the police were struggling to arrest the professional fighter and that one of the police officers who had made the arrest had been slightly injured in the hand.

Haywood was arrested and charged with battery and reserved shortly before midnight on Tuesday at Clayton County Jail. He posted a bond and was released Wednesday afternoon.

According to local media, the fight was filmed and Haywood can be heard furious: "Who wants it?"

Police and Spirit Airlines did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for comment.
