SAN DIEGO (AP) – Eloise, 37, had six children. Gibbon children. Siamangs, to be precise, usually grouped together in the group of animals we call the monkeys.

You will probably not be surprised that the San Diego Zoo puts Eloise under birth control. The birth of a new baby, November 12, was a surprise.

Apparently, Eloise did not seem to be pregnant in the weeks leading up to the birth.

They do not know much about offspring, including sex. A WSVM story says that they do not interrupt the family at the moment.
