according to Vanity Fair, TV presenters joined the National Archives in Washington, DC on Saturday with the country's founding documents, including the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, alongside them. Scarborough and Brzezinski became the first couple to get married in the Archives. The ceremony was officiated by the representative of Maryland. Elijah Cummings.

Although they appear every morning on millions of television screens across the country, the co-hosts have kept their ceremony very private and intimate. There were five guests plus their two children. Scarborough has four children, Brezezinski two. They kept it voluntarily too.

"We wanted it to be really small and simple and not what you expected from Mika and Joe," she says. Vanity Fair. "Everything we do is exposed, and everything feels exposed at every stage of the process, so we want it to be private until it's over."

Vanity Fair explained that there was not even any formal invitation for the wedding. The identity of Scarborough and Brezezinski was kept secret for the vendors, as was the place of the dinner after the ceremony.

The reception dinner was a little larger than the group of people attending the wedding. Guests had dinner on a Caesar salad, pepper squash soup, roast chicken, gnocci and more. Their wedding cake was a crepe cake in 20 layers.
