MPs spot the mother of a child found wandering alone in the J.C. Penney store

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of a wandering child in a J.C. Penney store early Friday morning.

The deputy ministers were sent to the store at 9365 Fields Ertel Street at approximately 12:10 am on Friday morning.

The deputies stated that the child appeared to be 2 feet and 6 inches tall, weighing 35 kg, with brown hair and eyes, and that he was wearing blue jeans, black Nike shoes with velcro straps, a black jacket with red and white stripes and a gray T-shirt with Hot Wheels logo on the front.

Investigators reported locating the mother and the investigation was continuing.

The child is currently working for Hamilton County and Family Services.
