Investigators in the office of Special Adviser Robert S. In 2016, WikiLeaks released hacked emails to John Podesta, a senior advisor to Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. Prosecutors said Guccifer has forwarded the stolen documents to the group. Stone described his contact with Guccifer as being benign saying that he was only congratulating Twitter's character for being reinstated after being banned from the social media platform

Davis is the last of Stone's multiple current and former associates to be contacted by Mueller's team.
