Multiple deaths reported in the crash of a wedding limousine in upstate New York State

A car accident involving a wedding limousine allegedly killed several people in upstate New York State.

According to the Albania Times Union, the accident occurred at Schoharie on Saturday allegedly involving a limousine carrying a wedding party.

State police only stated that the accident occurred just before 2 pm. at the intersection of State Route 30 and State Route 30A and caused "several deaths".

Some of the wounded were transported by helicopter to the hospital of Albany Medical Center.

Details, including the number of deaths, were not immediately available.

Police said that there would be closed roads in the area for several hours.

Schoharie is southwest of Albany.
