Mumford & Sons have announced a world tour in the arena to support their next fourth studio album, Delta, which will be released on November 16th. The 60-date tour will begin on the same day as they release their album at 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The biggest tour to date for the band, it will feature a new complete scenic design.
The tour crisscrossed Europe until November and traveled to the United States from December 7 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the Wells Fargo Center, and continues in North America during this month. It continues in 2019 with dates in New Zealand and Australia in January before returning to the United States in February with a series of dates until March before another stage in Europe. The highlight will take place on 21 May in Stockholm, Sweden, at Ericsson Globe.
Last week, the band recorded the single "Guiding Light" on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The number driven by acoustics indicates the group's return to its acoustic roots for Deltabut they also said Rolling stone that they also explored new sound territories.
"This time, we were even freer because we thought we could go back to acoustic instruments," guitarist guitarist guitarist Winston Marshall said of his experimental approach. "There was not a lot of boundaries musically."
