1. Myles Garrett played less clichés against the Falcons
Garrett, who ranks third in the NFL with nine sacks, started the season playing 100% in the opening game against the Steelers and stayed in the 90s for the first quarter of the season. Williams said the extra time allotted to some of the alternate players would help preserve the freshness of players like Garrett, Emmanuel Ogbah and Larry Ogunjobi. According to profootballfocus.com, Garrett rushed on 34 of the 50 shots, but recorded no pressure.
"It's a way of trying to get some more relaxing shots so that these guys at the end and end of the game are out hunting in the two-minute exercises," he said.
