House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called the candidate Brett Kavanaugh "hysterical" to the Supreme Court and said he was not fit for the right to sit on the Supreme Court. Pelosi made these comments during an interview Saturday at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin, Texas.

"I could not help but think that if a woman had ever played this way, she would say" hysterical, "Pelosi said about his reaction to Kavanaugh's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. Kavanaugh emotionally denied allegations that he sexually assaulted Dr. Christine Blasey Ford while they were both teenagers.

During his opening statement, Kavanaugh was very moved, sometimes almost screaming and choking when discussing his family and his high school years. He also has explicitly condemned Democrats on the committee have called the charges against him "coordinated and grotesque murder" organized by disgruntled Liberals that Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election.

Pelosi stated that she believed that Kavanaugh's testimony proved that he could not be part of the Supreme Court because it showed that he had a bias against the Democrats.

"I think he's disqualified with these statements and the way he went after the Clintons and Democrats," she said.

Pelosi is opposed to the question of whether she would attempt to dismiss Kavanaugh's case if it was confirmed and if the Democrats got a majority in the House of Representatives.

"I will say this – if he does not tell the truth to Congress or the FBI, he will not be fit not only to sit on the Supreme Court, but also in the court where he currently stands," Pelosi said. Kavanaugh is currently a judge at the Circuit Court of Appeal.

Pelosi added that as a Democrat, she worried about potential Kavanaugh decisions against the Affordable Care Act or Roe v. Wade because he is considered a conservative judge. In his confirmation hearings, Kavanaugh evaded questions of whether he would overturn certain Supreme Court decisions.

"This is not the time for a person hysterical and skewed to go to court and wait for us to say," is not it wonderful, "said Pelosi.
