NASA publishes a line of clothing on the theme of space with Vans

Nasa and Vans have created a new collection, inspired by space suits and borrowed from patches from the agency's most famous missions.

The collection consists of a wide range of Nasa licensed products – and suggests that the relationship could possibly go otherwise, with brands appearing on the rockets of the space agency.

The collection includes some of Vans' well-known silhouettes, including Sk8-Hi shoes and traditional clothing and accessories. But he associates them with images taken from the history of NASA, including fixes inspired by the Apollo 11 mission, the famous logo "meatball" of the space agency.

There are eight shoes in all, from sneakers to slippers. And there are many clothing offers, including a black and orange anorak, t-shirts, hoodies and a bag.

The collection will be available November 2nd in Vans stores and on its website.

It's far from being the first time that NASA has partnered with design companies to create mainstream products: Earlier this year, she had collaborated with streetwear designer Heron Preston to create a collection for his 60th birthday and had even created household items with Ikea. The agency also manufactures its own clothing, which is sold in reception centers in its premises and online.
