Joey Logano won his first pole of the season on Friday as he clocked the fastest qualifying time at Kansas Speedway for the Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday (2:30 pm, New York time, NBC).
"It's been a long time since we had a pole, so it's nice to be able to break into a good position for this last cut-off race," Logano told NBCSN after his race.
The last pole of Logano before Friday was during the fall race at Martinsville in 2017.

Kevin Harvick, who won the spring race in Kansas this season, will start second.
Kyle Larson, who needs a win or a massive help in points to advance to the knockout stage of NASCAR's playoffs, was wrecked and finished 27th in the emergency car qualifying.
