Reed later stated that the technicians involved were executives with a long term working for National Grid. Regular employees of the utility union have been locked out since a labor dispute since June.
The national grid employs about 200 people in Woburn to restore gas service to the affected customers, Reed said. She said that all homes should have gas service restored by Thursday.
