The world of basketball is waiting patiently for LeBron James to ruminate the next chapter of this NBA career.
James has until June 29 to decide whether he will participate in the final year of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. If he chooses not to do it, he will become a free agent and will be able to test the waters in free will, which officially opens on July 1st.
But while the star striker is undoubtedly the main event of the off season, he might not wait very long to inform the public of where he intends to take his talents.
In a recent appearance on the podcast "The Lowe Post," Brian Windhorst of ESPN expressed his belief as to when he expected James to make his decision as a free agent .
"Everyone will be on vacation on July 4th, it will be over here," Windhorst said.
Given James' story, it would be earlier than usual. The now infamous "The Decision" special interview took place on July 8, 2010 and, four years later, James announced his intention to return to the Cavaliers via a Sports Illustrated essay published on July 11.
But no matter when James makes his decision, there is no doubt that the world of sport will stop.
