CHAPEL HILL, NC – After NC State's 34-28 overtime win over UNC at Chapel Hill, NC State players told the media about the eighth win of the season. Below you will find videos and transcripts of Ryan Finley, Reggie Gallaspy and Brock Miller after the third consecutive victory over the Tar Heels at Kenan Stadium.

Ryan Finley

Win three games against Carolina:
It's exciting. I am very happy for all the elderly – that we can go out this way. What a great victory – overtime. Just a nice team victory. I thought we had dominated the trenches and it was great to see.

On Gallaspy's effort:
Reggie is a beast. He went straight to beast mode on us all. Somehow, I managed the game and I let him do his thing. And he was running behind the Band of Brothers and they were blocking their ass. It was fun to watch. What an exciting way to win this game!

On being able to put the ball in overtime:
We absolutely followed them in the match at the end of the line. This is our team more serious than their team. I think they were tired and not us. We showed grain, hardness and we dominated.

In the time:
It was wet. The second half was definitely better conditions. I think you saw that kind of by the score. We were able to settle in the second half and be more balanced. The conditions of the first half were not great, but I was proud of the way we treated them.

On being able to throw in the second half:
We knew that (time) was going to clear up. Coach Drink and the offensive staff just said to stick to it and do what we do. That's what we ended up doing.

Coach Doeren is unbeaten at Kenan Stadium:
It's awesome. We nicknamed this Carter-Finley North Stadium. I do not lose here and we do not lose here.

On the one-handed capture of Jakobi Meyer:
"I just launched it – in his area code. We had a little joke – that's right. You give him a chance, he has a knockout with that … amazing game. For him to play this game on this disc, it was absolutely huge.

Reggie Gallaspy

Scored five touchdowns against North Carolina:
Unbelievable. Be 3-1 against UNC. We only lost once against UNC and it was my first year. It was amazing to put on a show and contribute. We did it for everyone – my daughter and all the university. It was just amazing.

On how he felt in overtime:
I feel that every time I touch the ball (I will not be stopped). Just have the mentality of finishing up and knowing that good things will come to you.

Importance of the senior class winning Saturday:
Just to have the opportunity to say that we beat them and that we are 3-1 and that fifth year seniors have 4-1. It's just very exciting.

On the current game:
You want to go to a university (as a running back) engaged in the current game and believing in it. This can open different things. I really like coach Doeren and coach Drinkwitz, who have this mentality of running.

People criticize us sometimes because things do not work at first. But as the game progresses and the pace begins to set in, we start moving things forward as you see today.

On how he felt in the second half:

Coach Kitchings already knows I want the ball to be in my hands. As an elder having everything that happened to me, you want the ball to be in your hands. If you show guys like Ricky (Person), who's going to do great things here, you have to get by.

To be honest, he really taught me a lot. But after the game against Virginia, he taught me a lot, because sometimes I let myself be had. He kept me pushing and kept me fighting.

On the coach Doeren saying to his son, they hope to have heart to him:

It's great to have your head coach – a model for you – sit around and tell you that you are a role model for his kids. Plus, I am father of a two year old daughter, and I am a role model for her. Knowing that I am a model for her also has an impact on other children. It's amazing how God opened a lot of doors for me and I had a lot of opportunities. And I can not thank him enough.

Brock Miller

Be here after the match:
I can not say that I did it (see myself sitting there). But everyone always preaches to be ready and we prepare ourselves every week. And I kept the same attitude every week. You never know when it will be your time and it's like that this week. Every week I was ready to go, ready to play. I am simply grateful for what has happened and I am happy to be here.

By playing by this time:
I come from Florida and I was a bit cold at first. But once I warmed up, I enjoyed the game and could not ask for a better match day.

On what he wanted to accomplish:
I just wanted to do my job. Coach Doeren preached every week – do our job. We have excellent leaders in defense. Pratt was always preparing me to be ready. Every week, he made an extra effort to make sure I knew what was going on. I just wanted to go and help our defense not miss anything.

Speaking to Pratt before the match:
He called me this morning and told me that he was excited to see me play. He told me that he knew that I was ready, that I believed in myself and that he encouraged me. He told me to go direct the defense.

On what goes through his head when Reggie marks the last touchdown:
Oh man, growing up, dreaming of a manual like this, I could not ask for a better situation than this one. Once he scored, I just looked for the closest person to celebrate with, and that's a feeling I will never forget. It will last forever.

On the defense of being able to regroup in the second half after UNC scored on the first three orders:
I think we just needed to get together and start doing it again. We started strong. We held these two goals early. They obviously had these hitches. But I think we just came together and they just told us to bow. We had to do our work and that's what we had preached all week. We knew we were going to get the best out of UNC and we would do our best. It did not really put us in phase. We tried not to flinch and we knew we had to go out ready.

On the NC-State-UNC rivalry:
At first, I did not know much about it. But as I get used to Raleigh and North Carolina, you start to learn how real the rivalry is. The other day, I was talking to one of my teammates (high school) about the depth of the situation and the length of our game. It's more than a game for us. two teams. It will be the best game of the season for both of us. You will get the best of both teams. And I realized it was a real good rivalry.
