Michigan absolutely dragged Nebraska on Saturday. The Wolverines were up 39-0 on the Huskers at halftime. He became 46-0 before a field goal in Nebraska in the third quarter, and would be 56-10 by the time the clock reaches triple zero.
Earlier, Bill Moos of Nebraska, AD, spoke about some of the problems in Michigan.
After hiring Scott Frost in the winter, Moos confused the Wolverines with Ohio State and said the teams "were a little scared right now" but did not admit it:
"We're going to run this part-time offensive we've seen (at the spring game), and we're going to bring the Blackshirts back to being Blackshirts. And it's extremely important, "Moos said. Later, with Michigan in 49-3, the Wolverines scored a 56-yard touchdown on a deep run on the right touchline.
Substitute Dylan McCaffrey was there, but I bet you that Harbaugh wanted to develop his guys rather than wanting to take things in hand with the Huskers.
Harbaugh never really cared about the accumulation of points.
His 2009 team at Stanford came back at the end of the game against USC # 8, prompting Harbaugh and Pete Carroll to fight verbally in midfield.
"What are you doing?" Carroll asked, and Harbaugh responded in the same way.
The Harbaugh teams in Michigan have long had a penchant for impatience. That included things like calling fake pots while increasing by 34 points in the fourth quarter against the ill-fated Illinois and twice for two-point conversions with four points of possession against Rutgers. Harbaugh does not consider it his problem.
