Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Neil Daryl Hannah are married.

In a post at his official website comparing his 1970 classic "Ohio" – about the National Guard killing of unarmed war protesters at Kent State University that year – to the current spate of school shoots, he wrote of "today's students" that, " We stand with them, they are us, my wife and I can do this video together for you to reflect on. "

Attached was a five-and-a-half-minute young, 72, performing "Ohio" in a concert setting. At its conclusion, the audience takes up the song "Never Again," referring to the Never Again movement by Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, following the shooting massacre there on Feb. 14 that left 17 people dead and more than a dozen injured.

Neither Young, whose classics also include "Heart of Gold," "Southern Man," "Cinnamon Girl," nor 57-year-old Hannah, has star of such films as "Blade Runner," "Splash," "Wall Street" and "Kill Bill," commented on social media about their marriage status. It is unknown if the music star used to be literally or figuratively, as some unmarried couples do.

The Canadian singer-songwriter and the American actress reportedly began their relationship in 2014. Reports that they had married first surfaced in a British tabloid, which stated they had wed on Aug. 25 in Atascadero, California, following a ceremony aboard Young's yacht. Congratulations from friends and fans started appearing on Aug. 25 Instagram post by Hannah that showed a small white at an undisclosed location, captioned, "someone's watching over us …. love & only love."

This would be Hannah's first marriage, following long-term relationships with musician Jackson Browne, attorney and president John F. Kennedy Jr. and actor Val Kilmer.

Young married restaurant owner Susan Acevedo in December 1968. She filed for divorce in October 1970. In August 1978, Young wed waitress Pegi Morton, who became a singer-songwriter in her own right and the subject of some of her husband's songs. They have two grown children, Ben and Amber Jean. Young filed for divorce on July 29, 2014; it was unclear when it was finalized. Young has also grown up, Zeke, with the late Academy Award-nominated actress Carrie Snodgress.
