Netflix extends its original anime slate with "Ultraman", "Neon Genesis Evangelion", etc.

During its Anime Lineup presentation event at Akiba Theater in Tokyo, Netflix unveiled its Anime program catalog for 2019.

The new range is an extension of the original Anime programming, which includes Devilman Crybaby and B: the beginning. Netflix has announced that they will revisit some of the most beloved stories that many Anime fans already know and love, including Ultraman, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac.

The news comes after Netflix made its first showcase on Asia earlier this month where it announced the addition of Pacific Rim, altered carbon, insect cage dressing table, Yasuke, and Trese to their slate of anime. This list continues to reach Netflix's global reach for original content, with stories from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and South Korea.
