The CW has released a new promo for "Elseworlds" the next Arrowverse crossover at tonight's party Super Girl.

This latest promotion is the best look of this three-night event that will see the world as the heroes know it upset thanks to the machinations of Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davies) of Arkham Asylum that we see in action for the first time . in the new promo. Check above.

The promo shows Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) confronting Deegan and telling him to undo the chaos caused by DIY reality – which he refuses to do. He also seems to imply that Deegan may have been able to tinker with reality via a mysterious book by Mar Novu / The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett). The monitor is heard: "I have offered you the deity, show them now what a true god can do", even if the way things are changed does not make clear to whom – or what – he addresses himself.

The promotion also shows John Wesley Shipp in costume and action in his iconic 1990s costume, stating that what has been done to his Earth will not be done on this one, at least on his watch, though Supergirl is taking Placer on Earth-38, as opposed to Earth-1, where Flash and Arrow appear, it's also hard to know which Earth is in danger.

Although this promotion helps to better understand the plot of Elseworlds, there are still many unknowns. We know that the event will include the live-action debut of Kate Kane / Batwoman (Ruby Rose), as well as appearances of Clark Kent / Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) and Nora Fries (Cassandra) Jean Amell).

"The crossing is trite," Amell explained during a recent Facebook Live. "It's crazy … I think it will be the best cross-over event we are organizing – not just the best but the best by a very wide margin." And I think last year was been fantastic. "

"Crisis on Earth X", I think that's how it was called, it was pretty crazy and start playing doppelgängers was pretty crazy, "he said. Amell continued. "When Greg Berlanti spoke for the first time about why he wanted to do crossovers, it was because it was for the fans. It's for people to can watch characters and scripts that combine their favorite elements on TV or show them new things on TV, but you also get this license to do things we could never do in the void – especially on Arrow – that we can never do in the void of our show. "
