The new video Star Wars Resistance presents The Aces

Less than a month from the premiere of the last entry of the animated series of the universe, Resistance to Star Wars, Disney has released a new teaser for the series featuring a new group of pilots known as "The Aces", and can be viewed in the player below!

The high-flying adventure series – which takes place before the events of the force awakens and expands Star wars Universe – follows Kazuda Xiono ("Kaz"), a young pilot recruited by the Resistance for a top secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order.

Aces are the most experienced veterans of the series and know their reputation, some of the members acting more than a little too much in all situations. This experienced team and the Fireball team team will find their missions lined up as the video also providing key advice regarding the rise of the First Order and the appearance of Kylo Ren's ship.

In the one-hour premiere titled "The Recruit", Poe and BB-8 assign the newly named spy Kaz to the Colossus, a massive aircraft refueling platform on an outer planet lining up new aliens, droids and creatures. While an infiltrator, Kaz works as a mechanic and lives with Poe's former friend, Yeager, a veteran pilot who operates a ship repair shop led by his team: Tam, Neeku and their former astromech droid beaten, Bucket . Kaz finds himself quickly with his new friend BB-8 because he will have to participate in dangerous races in the sky, keep the secret of his mission with his new family and avoid the danger of the First Order.

The voice includes Christopher Sean (Days of our lives) as Kazudo Xiono; Suzie McGrath (East Enders) as Tam Ryvora; Scott Lawrence (Legion) as Jarek Yeager; Myrna Velasco (Elena from Avalor) as Torra Doza; Josh Brener (Silicon Valley) as Neeku Vozo; Donald Faison (Scrubs) as Hype Fazon; Jim Rash (Community) and Bobby Moynihan (DuckTales) as Flix and Orka, respectively; Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) as Poe Dameron; Gwendoline Christie (The iron Throne) as Captain Phasma; and Rachel Butera (Tammy's tiny tea) as General Leia Organa.

Dave Filoni, veteran veteran of Lucasfilm Animation (Star Wars: The clone war, Star Wars Rebels) created the series; Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The clone war, Star Wars Rebels), Justin Ridge (Star Wars: The clone war, Star Wars Rebels) and Brandon Auman (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) serve as executive producer; and Amy Beth Christenson (Star Wars: The clone war, Star Wars Rebels) is artistic director.

Star Wars Resistance takes off with a one-hour premiere on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 10 pm EDT / PDT on Disney Channel, DisneyNOW and Disney Channel VOD. After his debut in the United States, Resistance to Star Wars will roll out globally on Disney channels worldwide.
