News: WWE advances with Crown Jewel without mentioning Saudi Arabia

WWE Raw has maintained its usual business for WWE, which continues to ignore the negative press in anticipation of its upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in November.

The WWE audience has spent the last three weeks in the last three places. Once again facing MLB competition in the playoffs and Monday Night Football, among a strong lineup of fall programs, the downward trend in gross audience numbers continues.

If this correspondence had a slogan, it would be "Where are they now?"

That might be an overreaction, but Ronda Rousey has gone from below average to excellent promotion in this segment, if not for just one night.

Dean Ambrose may have difficulty as a solo artist, but he is a great Raphael Shield.

At this point, I would prefer to see The Shield vs. again. 3MB as The Shield vs. the Dogs of War.

Finn Balor def. Jinder Mahal

As WWE continues to woo the Bullet Club, the key will be to stop them from asking Finn Balor if the boat is jumping.

Bobby Lashley, alongside Lio Rush, destroying the former ROH and New Japan Pro Wrestling would propel him to the rank of superstardom.

Bobby Lashley def. Tyler Breeze

In addition to being an excellent worker and a fantastic manager, Lio Rush is also an accomplished cantor.

Tyler Breeze had his share of offensive considering that everyone in the arena knew how it would end.

Mickie James and Alexa Bliss face Trish Stratus and Lita

This segment died slowly before Trish Stratus and Lita rescued him with their homage to Allen Iverson's famous tirade of "practice".

Apollo Crews admitted that he was not playing the guitar, that he was not singing and that it was really not funny. This must be part of the development process of modern WWE stars.

WWE is reviving its managers and if Apollo Crews wants to change careers, he will need them too.
