the New York Giants fell to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, 20-13. New York is now 0-2, with a lot of games to go. With the NFL Power Rankings as we go out on various platforms this morning, let's see where the giants fall.
We ran through seven power rankings from different sites and the Giants came out at number 27 when you grouped the different lists. They are as high as # 24 on the Bleacher report and as low as # 30 on ESPN. Here is an aggregation of all rankings and explanations.

Dallas's defense is good, but not this good. The Giants looked like a wreck. The offensive line is still bad and Eli Manning seems to be constantly concerned about the race. When he throws, he still looks like a declining quarterback, which he's been during the previous two seasons. A lot of work needs to be done before the Giants offensive is respectable.
Bleacher's report (No. 24)
The New York Giants have a Super Bowl MVP at Eli Manning. No doubt the best catcher in the NFL at Odell Beckham. And a Top Two pick choice in the rear field of rookie quarterback Saquon Barkley.
What the Giants also, two weeks after the 2018 season, is an absolutely lamentable offense.
In two games, the Giants scored both touchdowns. One of them was a 68-yard run against the Jaguars. The other was a pass in the trash Sunday night against the Cowboys.
Both came once the game in question was no longer in question.
It's not just the fault of these position players. In both defeats this year, the Giants offensive line has been postponed. The holes are not there for Barkley. Manning has very little time to launch.
The Giants are once again the only occupants of the NFC East basement – and a team in very real trouble.

Sooner or later, the Giants will come to this conclusion: a productive offense can no longer be built around Eli Manning. This franchise has tried to improve every area, including the offensive line, but the elephant in the room is too big to ignore. : Manning can not move or expand games. Saquon Barkley broke the franchise record for receptions in one game with 14 in the second week. This happened a week after he became the first rookie in the history of the Giants with 100 rushing yards in an opening match. – Masi
