But we do not want to know the order now. We want to know what the order would look like at the end of the season. That's why we use the ESPN Football Power Index, a prediction system that exploits the added game-added points and other factors to project how each team will end the season.

At some point, Larry Fitzgerald will hang up his crampons and the clock of his induction into the Hall of Fame will begin. But the Cardinals look forward to this happening to remedy the void left by the 35-year-old, even though it's not a preliminary choice. With the left tackle D.J. Humphries getting ready for his option season in 2019 and right tackle Andre Smith in injury, the Cardinals could strengthen the position. Another priority is to find a half corner that could complete the perpetual Pro Bowler Patrick Peterson and give the Cardinals one of the NFL's top runners-up. – Josh Weinfuss

The irony was as strong as Al Davis' focus in Brooklyn when Jon Gruden said earlier this season that it was difficult to find the passters elite passes, having traded Khalil Mack. Ditto for Gruden claiming he loved Derwin James, but Oakland had already used the best security choices the previous two seasons. What if Derek Carr simply could not survive, let alone prosper, in the Gruden system? Yes, we are on Scorched Earth, but hard times call for drastic measures, priority being given to the quick pass. Should the November 1st game at the 49ers be a preview of the Nick Bosa Bowl? The former Ohio State driver is at the top of the top two boards of Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay. – Paul Gutierrez

The good news for the Browns is that it's the first time century they will not have to worry about writing a quarterback. It is assuming that Baker Mayfield continues to progress. What they need is to give Mayfield more talented attackers. Defensively, the linebacker could use reinforcements and depth. The up and down game of Jamie Collins Sr. remains a concern, and Cleveland could easily free himself from his contract if he released him out of season. With regard to the cornerback, adding another corner of choice to Denzel Ward, whose three interceptions are tied at the top of the championship, would be a major asset. – Pat McManamon

The needs of the Giants begin and end at a quarter. If they do not find a solution to this post, all their talented young gaming leaders – including Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley – will be lost. Eli Manning has only thrown six touchdowns in six games this season, and it looks like fourth-round pick Kyle Lauletta seems like a long shot. They can not dismiss the quarterback if they are back in the top 10 after winning Barkley's second place this year against Sam Darnold and other promising options. But that is not it. The Giants need help with leading positions, such as the touchdown line and offensive line, especially in the right tackle. Nobody will say that they could use a brew of talent at any one of these places, with New York being tied for the last time in the NFL with seven sacks. at least 100 pass blocks this season. – Jordan Raanan

The 49ers' defense has been virtually non-existent in recent years since they have not had more than 6.5 sacks of bags since 2013 nor have they surpassed the double digits since 2012. San Francisco is in desperate need of money. a dominant defensive end "LEO" to complete the DeForest tackle. Buckner. Pierre-Garcon is under contract for 2019, but his cap of $ 8.4 million for next season could be untenable, and the Niners could move on. Whatever the case may be, the offense could still use a reliable target of choice for Jimmy Garoppolo. Richard Sherman was a good addition to the corner, but the Niners did not get the step that they hoped Ahkello Witherspoon, and Jimmie Ward continues to fight injuries and is a free agent in 2019. The 49ers could use a caliber corner to pair with Sherman and potentially replace him someday at # 1 on the team. – Nick Wagoner

It will depend on how Quarterback Case Keenum finish the season. The Broncos awarded him a two-year contract when he signed in March, and they were also looking for the best quarters in the 2018 project. They did not choose to pick one, but the general manager John Elway and three other team members have already spotted potential 2019 class quarterbacks at the Oregon-Washington match this month. If Keenum can help the Broncos out of the current doldrums, they may be inclined to start the next season and mentor a young quarterback. The other two most immediate needs of the Broncos are the cornerback, where the level of talent has decreased compared to previous years, and the tackle offensive, where the game has been fragile these past two seasons. – Jeff Legwold

Bills receivers have accumulated an average of 78 yards per game this season, the second-worst performance among NFL teams since at least 2001. With Kelvin Benjamin in the final year of his contract and barely justifying an extension, the Bills could three wide new receivers in 2019. Their half-turn against Tre & # 39; Davious White has also been a revolving door this season between Phillip Gaines, Ryan Lewis and Vontae Davis briefly. The offensive line, which contributed to the lowest rate of 11.2%, the lowest in the league, could also use improvements at all positions, with the exception of the left tackle. – Mike Rodak

The Colts have avoided the last season to send a receiver No. 2 to play alongside T.Y. Hilton. They understood what it's like to have no threat without Hilton (hamstring) in the last two games. The Colts have 13 falls in the last three games. They managed to get out without threatening their legitimate pass so far this season – their 19 sacks are tied for third place in the league – but they have no player forcing them the opposing quarter to look for them at the match. line of scrimmage. And as with the receiver, the Colts avoided dealing with the cornerback after Rashaan Melvin signed with Oakland last spring. They miss a well-defined half-corner. – Mike Wells

Ezekiel Ansah, waiting for his free will (and his lingering injuries), is looking for a razor of quality a primary asset. It was also a necessity last year … and the year before too. If Ansah leaves, however, Detroit has no former striker, linebacker Devon Kennard being the only player under contract for 2019 to be promising. The Lions' running defense issues also need an addition to the inside of the line of defense. If the Lions manage to find a better candidate against the race, it could solve two problems with one perspective. But with the Lions' skills in form at the attack and a team already invested in the offensive line, Detroit must make the defense a priority, regardless of its position in the first round. – Michael Rothstein

The Jets have been looking for a leading rusher for over a decade; an outside linebacker to the fast passes is the main weakness of his team of 3-4. Having failed in their attempt to trade for Khalil Mack, it is now becoming their # 1 priority this season. They will need a left guard to replace James Carpenter, a free agent after the season, and their team corps may need a complete overhaul, with Quincy Enunwa, Jermaine Kearse and Terrelle Pryor ready to hit the agency free. – Rich Cimini
