NFL Choice: Forecasts for Redskins vs. Cowboys | Thanksgiving Football (11/22/18)

[ad_1]

Week 12 of the NFL's 2018 season, a Thanksgiving Day match will take place on Thursday, November 22, 2018, when the Washington Redskins will face the Dallas Cowboys at AT & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The kickoff is scheduled for 16:30. EST on FOX.

The Redskins are led by head coach Jay Gruden, quarterback Colt McCoy (for injured Alex Smith) and halfback Adrian Peterson. Washington just defeated the Texans in Week 11 and enters the match with a 6-4 record.

The Cowboys are led by head coach Jason Garrett, quarterback Dak Prescott and halfback Ezekiel Elliott. Dallas just won the Falcons in Week 11 and enters the match with a 5-5 record.

Here's how our experts see the game play.

Zack Rosenblatt: The winner of this game could finally win the NFC East. The Redskins have been decimated by injuries while the Cowboys have played well in recent weeks. Cowboys 21, Redskins 14.

Ryan Dunleavy: Colt McCoy has been named to play the quarterback against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The Redskins have made a rallying cry against the injuries that have been overcome, but Alex Smith's late-season injury is too difficult to handle. Cowboys 20, Redskins 12.

Matthew Stypulkoski: The Redskins have had a surprising start to the season, but now they have to try to continue without quarterback Alex Smith. Good luck with that. Especially because the Cowboys know that they could tie for first place with a win at home. Cowboys 21, Redskins 14.

Mike Kaye: The battle for the NFC's eastern crown is morbid. Washington is perhaps the team most affected by league injuries (outside perhaps Philadelphia) and Dallas is as mediocre as possible. However, better is mediocre than private in depth. The Cowboys will be getting ahead for the division head. Cowboys 16, Washington 12.

Darryl Slater: Bizarre, down year in the NFC East. Despite all the faults of the Cowboys, they could eventually overtake Washington for the division head, especially with Alex Smith for the year. Cowboys 17, Washington 10.

Joe Giglio: The Cowboys are starting to become a good football team. The Redskins start Colt McCoy. Cowboys 24, Red Skins 16.
