NFL Panic Index: The Rams are unbeaten. It could be a curse

Much of Week 6 in the NFL was felt like a return to normal. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers have methodically torn the hearts of their opponents. The Eagles and Vikings are back on track. The Steelers have punk Bengals. Vontaze Burict could have problems with the NFL. No one has lost against the Browns or the Bills.

It was a good lesson not to overreact too early in the season.

Although the results were more predictable this week, the fun is still great this season. Let's take a second and appreciate that …

The Rams are cursed as the last unbeaten NFL team

In fact, the last time the Rams went to the Super Bowl in 2001, they were the last unbeaten NFL team this season. Then they lost to Tom Brady's annoying clutch gene in the Superdome.

The Bears defense might not be as good as we thought

Playing Brock Osweiler in his debut with a new team seemed like a game for the Bears. Osweiler has not been a productive starter and the Bears have one of the best defenses in the NFL. It was far from being a ploy for the Bears, however.

Osweiler threw for 380 yards and three touchdowns. Most of this damage occurred after Albert Wilson's capture, but it was still shocking to see one of the NFL's best defenses completely forget how to tackle it.

Wilson made 75 and 43 yard screen passes at home – a performance that was probably absurd. Speaking of outliers, there is something between Osweiler and the Bears. His first start for the three teams he signed up for was beaten by the Bears, and he won all three games.

The Bears still have by far the best defense in the north of the NFC and advance in the north of the NFC. There is a good chance that everything is going well.

Panic index: Breathe, Bears fans. The sky does not fall. The offensive has progressed well and the defense is still good, it was a bad match for them.
