Season 1 of the 2018 NFL season is only days away from the end of the off season.

Before the Falcons and Eagles start Thursday, the CBSSports.com NFL panel is ready to describe the standings at the end of the season, as well as the teams that will meet at the Super Bowl LIII – and who will be the best.

So who should you go back to the first week of the NFL? season? Visit SportsLine to see which teams have won more than 50% of the simulations, on the model that has surpassed 98% of the experts followed by NFLPickWatch.com in the past two seasons.

Some notes before we reach the predictions:

  • Our panel is unanimously agreed on several points: The Patriots will win the AFC East. The Steelers will win the AFC North and the Browns will finish last. The Colts will finish last. The Packers and Vikings will make the two playoffs.
  • NFC East was the hardest division to predict, with each of the four teams having at least one vote as a divisional champion. The Cowboys, Giants and Washington each got at least one vote for the second, third and fourth places.
  • Once again, trust is high in shippers. Five of our experts chose them to win the AFC West. Apparently, we are all going with this ship. Again.
  • Two panelists did not choose exactly the same field in the AFC.
  • Twelve teams received zero votes for the playoffs: Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Browns, Colts, Raiders, Broncos, Lions, Bears, Buccaneers, Cardinals and 49ers. This list includes many of the hottest sleep choices for this season.
