Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season is in the books and the name of Dez Bryant can not be found.
The former receiver of the Dallas Cowboys remains unsigned after his release by Dallas in April.
Yes, he had the opportunity to sign with the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns.
Yes, there was once a wide All-Pro receiver who could still have a lot to offer to a team.
Yes, Dez Bryant wants to return to the field this season.
But where and when this happens is very present in the air.
Bryant also used his thumbs to hint at where he might want to sign.
After his release, Bryant said he wanted to stay in the NFC East.
But until now, the Giants, Eagles and Redskins have publicly expressed no interest in signing Bryant, who was an All-Pro receiver in 2014.
It was also the last season he had received more than 1,000 yards. Bryant played every 16 games last season for the Cowboys, finishing with 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns.
Many of the NFL teams could surely use someone with that kind of skill.
MyBookie.AG has the latest odds on where Bryant could sign.
Cleveland Browns: 2/1 (+200)
The Browns already have Jarvis Landry and Josh Gordon on the list, so there might not be room for another ego in the big receiver meeting room.
Washington Redskins: 3/1 (+300)
Quarterback Alex Smith could still use an additional option.
