The rookie pushed off his last right kick, as did his earlier attempt at 49 in overtime.
Mason Crosby, the Packers kicker, tied a career record with five field goals, but his potential winner of 52 was largely relegated to the end of regulation time.
The tie eclipsed the memorable performances of both quarters.
Green Bay star Aaron Rodgers played with a splint on his injured left knee and racked up 281 yards and a score.
Kirk Cousins of Minnesota had 425 yards and four touchdowns, including three in the fourth quarter.
The Vikings had returned from a 20-7 deficit early in the fourth.
