NFL Week 1 Forecasts: Picks, Spreads, Betting Lines for Each Match

[ad_1]

The 2018 season of the NFL has arrived!

It is officially time to dive weekly into the points and the betting lines around the sport. This means choices and predictions for the entire slate.

Welcome to the first week of the 2018 NFL season.

With a new year, we are sure of the following: fantastic football, encouraging your favorite team and, of course, taking a look at the gaps to make sure you're on the right side of every result .

Consider this as a one-stop guide for choosing each game (or at least the majority) correctly.

Atlanta Falcons to Philadelphia Eagles (-2)

Thursday, September 6th at 8:20 pm

The reigning Super Bowl champion is usually in that position, but the Eagles are not heading for the first week. No Carson Wentz, a faltering receiver and no continuity in attack. Add to that the suspension of Nigel Bradham and the recipe to upset the Falcons is there. My shot: the hawks.

Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens (-7)

Sunday 9 September at 13:00

The last time Nathan Peterman started for the Bills, well, that did not end well. Against the Ravens defense, expect a difficult sled. Baltimore controls the game and Joe Flacco throws two bombs for the touchdowns. THE PICK: The Ravens.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-3) to the New York Giants

Sunday 9 September at 13:00

It sounds like a trap game for Jacksonville. Young team on the road, great expectations for a Super Bowl race that is looming for the season. Add a new coach and feel the Giants, and a tight match should be there. But it is impossible to go against this defense of the Jaguars. They will do the work against Eli Manning. MY PICK: Jaguars.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers in New Orleans Saints (-9.5)

Sunday 9 September at 13:00

Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. Drew Brees. Sometimes things can be simple. It's one of those times. Tampa Bay will score a few points and New Orleans could miss Mark Ingram late. But the saints will do enough to retire late. MY PICK: Saints.

Houston Texans to the New England Patriots (-6.5)

Sunday 9 September at 13:00

Houston is the sleeping giant of the season. If it is healthy, this team has the kind of talent that can win anywhere and anytime. It even means the first week in New England. It comes down to a late field goal. Take the points. My shot: Texans.

San Francisco 49ers to Minnesota Vikings (-6)

Sunday 9 September at 13:00

Each season has a team style too elevated before the season. This coat belongs to the 49ers in 2018. Kyle Shanahan is an excellent game striker and offensive strategist, but I am not totally convinced of the decision to pay Jimmy Garoppolo for high-end money. The best fit for the Shanahan offensive, Kirk Cousins, will win this battle. MY PICK: Vikings.

Tennessee Titans (-1.5) to the Miami Dolphins

Sunday 9 September at 13:00

Note: Miami will have the first pick in the NFL 2019 draft. Tennessee, with a new coach and offensive coordinator, has the potential to become a dangerous team in the AFC. A big season starts with a victory on the road against a lower opponent. MY PICK: Titans.

Cincinnati Bengals at the Colts of Indianapolis (-3)

Sunday 9 September at 13:00

The return of Andrew Luck on the field will be the title, but the advantage of Cincy on both lines will be the difference here. The best team receives points. Jump on that. My shot: the Bengals.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-3.5) at Cleveland Browns

Sunday 9 September at 13:00

The drama The Veon Bell suddenly makes this game intriguing, but Pittsburgh's depth and coaching advantage will prevail. Myles Garrett will make life difficult for Ben Rothlisberger, but Antonio Brown makes a late catch to seal a win. MY PICK: Steelers.

Kansas City Chiefs in Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5)

Sunday September 9 at 16:05 East

It will be fun. Patrick Mahomes' show begins for the Chiefs against the team ready to steal the AFC West crown. Expect a ton of points during a shootout early in the season. Keenan Allen is the difference in a seven-point victory of the Chargers. MY PICK: Chargers.

Seattle Seahawks at the Denver Broncos (-3)

Sunday, September 9th at 4:25 pm

One of the most difficult games of the week. Seattle is historically poor far from home. Denver is historically good at home. But there is something interesting about a Seahawks team that has a major advantage at quarterback. I will take the points. My shot: Seahawks.

Eagles Season Preview

Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers (-3)

Sunday, September 9th at 4:25 pm

Carolina seemed to be a team ready to shed the playoff pole and have a tough season. The Dallas defense could steal this match, but give me the quarterback team and the most accomplished local team. MY PICK: Panthers.

Washington Redskins at Arizona Cardinals (-1)

Sunday, September 9th at 4:25 pm

Two teams have probably received a ticket for less than 500 seasons! This may defy logic, but give me the road team that launched Adrian Peterson in the second round. Washington has the advantage on both lines and at quarterback. That's enough in a field match. MY CHOICE: Redskins.

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-7.5)

Sunday September 9 at 20:20 is

The man is back. Aaron Rodgers will do a show. Yes, even with Khalil Mack trying to chase him away. It will be fun to watch Mitch Trubisky in a new attack, with a new coach and new weapons to try to keep pace. MY PICK: Packers.

New York Jets to Detroit Lions (-6.5)

Monday, September 10 at 19:10 is

Welcome to the Sam Darnold era! My surprise AFC team will go to Detroit and make it a match. Do not be shocked if Darnold wins with a late reader. MY PICK: Jets.

Los Angeles Rams (-4) at Oakland Raiders

Monday, September 10, 22:20 is

Oh, the Jon Gruden 2.0 experience begins. With the dust falling after Khalil Mack's trade, do not be surprised if the Raiders come out flat. It will be a disaster against a Rams team ready for a big regular season. MY PICK: Rams.
