Three Thanksgiving games between divisional rivals will give an interesting start to the season on the 12th day of the NFL.

Thanksgiving week is one of the best weeks of the year for football fans because, in addition to a full day of NFL activities on Sunday, three consecutive games were also held on Thursday to prevent you from speaking to your family.

Thanksgiving Games

The Bears against the Lions, the Washington against the Cowboys, and the Falcons against the Saints are the Thanksgiving games to hope for. The Bears, Saints and Washington are all in first place in their respective divisions, but Washington could lose that designation if the Cowboys finished second. Washington will play with alternate quarterback Colt McCoy following Alex Smith's leg injury. He will not be the only substitute to play on Thursday, as the Bears will likely start Chase Daniel, Mitchell Trubisky having shoulder problems following Sunday's game against the Vikings. The 9-1 Saints provided some of the best entertainment in the NFL and since the Falcons defense is pretty ~~banged up~~ Drew Brees should find a lot of success at home in New Orleans.

Odds and choice of experts

All of our gaming experts will win with the Cowboys and Saints, although the draw went to both Washington and the Falcons. Everyone went with the Patriots on the Jets and only the choice of coins was chosen by the Cardinals on the Chargers.

What to watch for

The Colts rank second in the NFL with only 10 bags allowed this season and have not dropped a sack since five straight games. On Sunday against the Dolphins, the Colts can become the fourth team to allow zero sacks in six consecutive games in one season since 1963, when team bags became official statistics. The teams with the most consecutive games without a sack in a season since 1963 are the Dolphins (1988, 12), Washington (1991, 8) and the Dolphins (1989, 7).

On the other side of the equation, Panthers defenseman Julius Peppers bagged last week and has 158.5 bags in her 17-year NFL career. With two sacks against the Seahawks on Sunday, Peppers would beat Kevin Greene, a member of the Professional Football Hall of Fame (160 bags) for the third largest number of bags since 1982, when the individual bag became official statistics.

The buccaneer receiver Mike Evans leads Tampa Bay with 957 passing yards this season. With 43 yards on Sunday against the 49ers, Evans can join the Pro Football Hall of Fame Randy Moss (six consecutive seasons) and AJ Green (five consecutive seasons) is the only player in NFL history to have collected at least 1,000 yards during each of his first five seasons.

The Vikings are back Sunday evening football for the second week in a row and will play again one of their NFC North rivals. This time, it's the Packers and Aaron Rodgers enter the game with 26 touchdowns against zero interception for a passer of 115.6 in his last 10 games against NFC North. Rodgers needs three touchdown passes without interception to have the highest number of consecutive touchdowns without a player interception against any division since 2002.
