NFL Week 8 Pick: Jets Cover, Vikings Beat Saints, and Many of Pete Prisco's Best Bets

[ad_1]

One of these days, my best results will go in the opposite of the weather that it does in most parts of the country.

I'm going to be hotter

After a record of 2-3 last week, including a terrible selection of Buffalo Bills with points against the Colts of Indianapolis, I am now 14-18 years old after seven weeks as part of the team OddsShark from Westgate Super Contest.

More on the NFL

It is now obvious that even with a chance of getting a blanket, I have things like Justin Tucker's missed extra point ruins any chance of coverage for the Ravens in overtime. I had them -2,5. Ouch.

It's time for the breaks to happen at my own pace starting this week.

Do you like it? Can a guy beg? In fact, I will not need breaks this week. These choices are solid.

Bears (-7) vs Jets

The Bears have lost two straight games against AFC East, but they will not lose this one against the Jets. It will be a difficult point for Jets quarterback Sam Darnold on the road. Mitchell Trubisky will get the best of this battle as a Bears cover.

Seahawks (+3) in Lions

The Seahawks just had a break, which they needed to get some guys back. The Lions impressed last week by winning in Miami, but I think Seattle will win this game behind a big goal from Russell Wilson. Seattle's defense also improves week by week.

Packers (+9.5) at Rams

If you gave me Aaron Rodgers and 9.5 points against the 1985 Bears, I would take Rodgers. This line is out of control. The Packers are good against the gap thanks to Mike McCarthy and this will continue here. The Rams will win a very good match, but Rodgers will keep his team in the game.

Vikings (PK) vs Saints

This line seems funny to me. I think the Vikings should be favored here. The Saints are a good team, but they play consecutive games on the road and the Vikings have come alive in the last three weeks. The saints have password defenses, which will appear in this one. The Vikings win it.

Cardinals (+1) against 49ers

With the change of Byron Leftwich as offensive coordinator, I think the Cardinals will come back to present David Johnson in different ways. It will be his best match. The 49ers have problems with defense, which will help become a reality. The Arizona defense has played well and it will be here. Take the point.
