Ohio State defensive wing Nick Bosa suffered a muscle injury.

By Cleveland.com Bill LandisHead coach Urban Meyer announced Thursday that Bosa had a procedure and that there was no timetable for his return.

Bosa was injured in the third quarter of Ohio State's win over TCU on Saturday. He was ruled out for this week's game against Tulane.

"Nick will not be playing this week," Meyer told reporters on Monday. "He will have other tests this week, it is a problem of abdomen and groin."

Bosa has lived up to his hype as the No.1 potential pick in the NFL draft in 2019 through three games this season. The junior star leads Ohio State with six tackles for the loss and four sacks.

As the Buckeyes prepare to play without their best player, the focus will be on second-year Chase Young and junior Jonathon Cooper. They will probably play the bulk of the shots usually reserved for Bosa, with Dre'Mount Jones in the defensive line.

Ohio State enters the fourth week of the # 4 ranking in the Top 25 of the Associated Press and in the coaching poll.
