Nick Jonas reveals how he and his fiancee Priyanka Chopra started dating

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, a newly engaged couple, met for the first time by SMS, through a mutual friend, the pop star revealed on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon".

Jonah and Chopra kept their relationship for a long time. The public appearances together and instinctive exchanges on Instagram were the subject of much speculation until the couple officially announced their commitment in August.

Now, fans receive complete story directly from Jonah himself.

"We met through a friend, so we first connected to the text and we started talking for about six months before we met in person," he said. Jonah to Jimmy Fallon on Friday night. "And then we attended the Met Gala a few years ago together, we had a great time, but just [as] friends."

"Our lives brought us to different places and the funny thing was that people were asking us, both in interviews and in private:" Do you see you guys? "And the answer was no," Jonah continued, "People thought we were shy, and we, too, until we are cut, are committed to making history itself."

Jonas and Chopra were photographed together on the Met Gala 2017 red carpet, but they were not seen together until photos celebrating the Memorial Day weekend in 2018 appeared on Instagram. According to Jonas, it was the moment when they met and the relationship exploded from there.

"We then found ourselves about five months ago and it was a bit immediate, I think we just knew it was right and we jumped in and we are very happy."

In the video segment, which you can see above, Jimmy Fallon once again congratulates Jonas and tells him to give him the best. Jonah then whispers: "She is here now" and the crowd is unleashed.

The camera watches Chopra standing in the dark next to the audience, watching his fiancé record the show.

Fallon then asked if the couple had any of these celebrity nicknames like "Brangelina". Chopra shouted "Prick!" from the audience and started to crack.

"She likes" Prick, "said Jonas smiling," I do not like that much. "
